Hi Ralph,

I saw this on the internet and want to pass on my experience with the Jesus Laughing print.

I was reading a spiritual book by an author who described how he carries around Tiny cards of Jesus Laughing and he believes that some of us [including me] have unhealthy ideas about how to act as a Christian. He hands these out to people to remind them that life is ment to be enjoyed and we need to "lighten" up and smile, etc. He also states that Jesus did not walk around constantly frowning and somber... He laughed with people.

This was so refreshing to me because I'm one of those people who thinks I need to "feel bad" a lot of the time [suffer, bear a cross, etc]. After reading this in his book, I was on a mission to find this picture because I knew I've heard of it and seen it before. I just didn't know where.

The next morning I spoke with a friend and asked her if she ever saw this picture. Talk about God working in my life!!! She knew exactly what I was talking about. She and I both attend a meeting at a church and she told me, "It's in the room where we hold our meeting!" Just before she said that, I was thinking about that meeting and wondered if I saw it there. Sure enough, at the next meeting, I ran into the room and looked on the wall... Guess what was there%3F It was a picture of Jesus Laughing.

I told my mom about it and she knew about this picture and mentioned it to a friend who also had one. I now have one hanging in my room where I can look at it as I get down on my knees, to say my prayers , before I go to bed at night. What a gift from God! I gave some pictures to other friends of mine.

I just love this picture because it's always a good reminder for me not to be so serious. There's nothing more that I want than to be light, joyous, happy and free in my soul.

I was always used to pictures of Jesus where He's not smiling and that always disturbed me because I felt that's how I was supposed to be. Just walk around the earth, helping others and doing it in a serious manner. I know today, that not what God wants for me.
