I received a copy of Jesus Laughing about a year ago via email and didn't know it was yours until yesterday. I love the picture. I write Christian poetry and would like to share the poem that the picture of Jesus inspired. Enjoy.

His Joy

Hast thou not heard the laughter,
Of the King of Kings?
Then thou hast never seen Him ride,
Upon an eagle’s wings.

Hast thou not seen the Father’s smile,
As His love fills time and space?
Then thou hast never seen Him gaze,
Upon a repentent sinner’s face.

When God looks upon creation,
May He be pleased deep in His heart;
He who created butterflies,
And fireflies in the dark.

Do you think that God’s not smiling,
When He does what can’t be done?
Oh, create another raindrop Lord,
This time just for fun!

To hear Him laugh and see Him smile,
Is the longing of my heart;
To please my Lord, to worship Him,
Oh Lord ... set me apart.
